There is a rapture in battle, but even a view from the side, indifferent, not burdened by national memory, cannot look at it calmly. Publicly and without hesitation, crushing sprats and tomatoes with road rinks? Officially, with a call to burn pork in furnaces more similar to melting martens? There is a special tear in this demonstrative senseless corrosion, madness - this is how, in the powerless fit of jealousy or in a family quarrel, the wife beats plates on the floor or shreds the husband’s sweater with scissors. A strange, perverted venture, which is performed with an unthinkable drive. Here is the whole point - in its absence, in the demonstration of the affect itself.
Destruction for the sake of destruction itself, in no way applicable in practice. Suppose, as a result of the campaign, the import of illegal products will decrease - but for a long time? And so it is clear that not this goal was pursued. As you know, Vladimir Putin’s decree on food is generally superfluous: illegal sanctions imports are already subject to seizure. So we are dealing with a pure military propaganda action, while built on the processing of the material used. Antisanctions introduced a year ago are introduced again, but with a new symbolic subtext: the West is no longer indicated as a political opponent, but as an elastic element, contact with which is life threatening and requires sanitary treatment-something like a deadly infection from some Hollywood science fiction. Otherwise, it is really impossible to explain why it is impossible, since it was so impatient, in the same way to publicly remove this smuggling and solemnly take to the orphanage with the escort of the OBHSS.
This is a new, unusual, not like a similar format. There was nothing like this before. An awkwardness is noticeable even in a powerful camp - for example, among some deputies of the Duma. The presidential spokesman agrees that “visually the spectacle is unpleasant”-as if shrugs: the order from the very top, nothing can be done. Employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor mutter something out of habit about the quality and expiration date with which-in contrast to the grocery wars of the end of the zero-this time and formally everything is in order. And they refer to world experience, of course the absent: nowhere in the world they destroy high -quality product smuggling.

But intuition - experienced already - whispers that this is all not enough and if the signatures are twice as much, this is still thousands of times less than 86%supporting the author of this undertaking Vladimir Putin. (Even if this is conditional 86%, but in fact there are fewer there.) And that there will be no truly mass reaction-despite all the thoughts that the destruction of food encroaches on the sacred sphere associated with war, hunger and blockade: it turns out that the food received from the enemy loses its sacredly, and the presidential decree is hotly approved and supported.
In principle, there is nothing new here: the war is contagious. It not only agrees with a picture of the world built by propaganda - it changes critical thinking, forms a new attitude and emotions. A new social contract arises before our eyes - with completely unexpected obligations and guarantees.
