
A workshop on the liquidation of the consequences of natural fires was held in Khakassia on August 6. According to the press service of the embassy, 1108 houses are under construction in the settlements affected by the fire: walls have been erected at 980 facilities, and finishing work has begun in 375. 91 residential buildings were commissioned. In addition, for local residents who do not have the rights to restore the burned housing by the state and have no other place to live, the construction of social houses is underway.
According to the regional administration, 3.5 thousand people are working in two shifts at two shifts. Along with specialists for improvement, gluing of wallpaper and other works that do not require special qualifications, construction detachments, volunteers, and local residents are additionally involved.
Commenting on the results of the meeting, Kozak noted that the republic faced an almost impossible task of restoring housing, which caused skepticism and with him. “Now we see that the work is deployed everywhere, everywhere, but there is very little time left, so it is necessary to mobilize all resources and strength. Especially at the stage of finishing work that require mass involvement of people. Dmitry Kozak also recalled that federal legislation provides for the financial liability of the republic to the state budget for the effective use of allocated funds: “By effective use, we mean the commissioning of houses, social facilities, engineering infrastructure into operation on time. At the same time, special attention is paid to the quality of the work performed. The obligations taken must be fulfilled by contractors - housing should be of high quality. Responsibility for everyone is inevitable, but there is a hope that tough sanctions will not be applied in the case of Khakassia. ”
As a result of fires on April 12, 34 people died in Khakassia, more than 4.5 thousand inhabitants suffered, more than 1 thousand houses burned down. Earlier, President Vladimir Putin indicated to the head of the republic Viktor Zimin about “inadmissibility” to delay the restoration of housing.
