Putin included Yasina in the HRC

The scientific director of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics", the head of the Liberal Mission Foundation, Evgeny Yasin, is included in the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights. This is stated in the presidential decree, published on the Kremlin website.

Last Friday, Putin approved Yasin's candidacy. This was announced by the chairman of the HRC Mikhail Fedotov.

He said that he himself introduced his candidacy for consideration by the head of state. Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, confirmed this information.

The Chairman of the SPC hopes that Yasin "will take part primarily in the work of the standing commission for civil participation in the modernization of the economy." He emphasized that in order to start performing functions in this position, we must wait for the presidential decree.

Fedotov noted that "each member of the HRC himself determines its function." At the moment, the circle of Yasin’s functions has not been defined, Yasin himself said that he would most likely be involved in matters of the economic sphere.

The Foundation "Liberal Mission", which is headed by Evgeny Yasin, was included in the Ministry of Justice in the register of "Foreign Agents". On July 29, Yasin did not exclude that instead of the "liberal mission" new structures can be created.

Yasin is also a member of the Council of the Dynasty Foundation, which on July 8 made a decision on self -destruction.
