
Judge of the Tver District Court of Moscow Elena Ermakova sentenced the 34-year-old Yuri Butorin, who at the end of February fired from injuries in a passerby with the flag of the DPR, by three and a half years of general regime. This was reported by the Moscow Agency. As specified on the court’s website, the verdict was sentenced on June 29, and is now aimed at appeal . Meanwhile, no information on the proceedings in the case was published earlier.
The investigation charged with the butorin points "D", "Z" of part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm from hooligan motives using weapons). The maximum punishment on this charges is 10 years of the colony.
The incident incriminated by the convict occurred on the night of February 22 , after the end of the Anti -Maidan movement . Two young people walked along Petrovka with the flag of the DPR. Butorin came out of the nearby bar "Haggis". It was claimed that he began to insult passers -by, shouting nationalist slogans.
A fight began. Butorin took out the traumatic gun "Osa" and shot one of the opponents in the face.
Eyewitnesses of the incident called the police. It was reported that during the inspection of Butorin, nationalist paraphernalia and weapons were discovered.
How serious injury the victim received was not specified.
On February 24, Butorin was arrested . Preliminary hearings in the case were held on June 18, and only one meeting took the trial on the merits.
