UrFU and residents of Titanium Valley

Residents of the special economic zone “Titanium Valley” will be told at the Ural Federal University (Ural Federal University) how to manage projects, interact effectively, and also effectively produce new things with the least risk. Another result of two special advanced training programs - “Development of the Titanium Cluster Innovation Ecosystem” and “Development and Management of Innovative Projects” - will be a package of specific innovative projects involving the production of new products.

The UrFU Innovation Infrastructure began implementing these programs, having developed them and won the corresponding competition in July. As part of the state subsidy for training, 6 million 491 thousand rubles were allocated.

Students of the first program will learn how to build effective interaction, develop and implement projects in priority areas of development of an innovative territorial cluster for the titanium industry, as well as how to establish a mechanism for the emergence of new products and technological solutions to meet market needs. The second program is dedicated to the rapid introduction of the most attractive scientific, technological and innovative developments to the market in the titanium industry.

“Our task,” continues E. Bespamyatnykh, “is to develop the competencies of our employees and make sure that they begin to provide their services as quickly as possible and offer truly new products using titanium. We will show you how to “package” a technical solution, manage work stages, protect intellectual property and how to make an offer to the market in order to be guaranteed to make a profit...

Currently, the organizers, together with their partners, are clarifying the so-called “qualification gaps” - those competencies that are needed for real business in the industry market. The results of this research will be taken into account when forming a list of students and forming groups that will work on specific projects during the training. Four foreign internships will be organized for representatives of priority areas and the most promising developments, the participants of which will be able to share their experience with other students upon their return.
