And why about the billionaire (it seems, the 15th in the Russian list) and the owner of the private (this must be emphasized) Krasnodar football club right now, and not in the spring of 2015, when his dashing Krasnodar team, spending only the fourth season in the elite, only miraculously took silver medals, spoke only now? Today, both the club and its president are not as fun as a few months ago: the miracle-anine-anine blood from the nose must be passed in the middle of autumn, and to somehow adapt the rules of football life, the “Krasnodar” as the top of the project last year, is not so similar to the extent that the president has to apologize to the fans.

But an active person with the idea - and Sergey Galitsky is just that - is especially interesting not in the moments of success, but when his plan is checked for strength and long -term. If everything is fine, it is easy to tell that you want to make and make new plans, but inevitably comes the moment when you need to endure and rethink something.

The football Krasnodar project of the owner of the Magnit network is a little over seven years - but other businessmen who, for one reason or another, were carried away by sports and decided to invest considerable funds in it, and completely enough. At first, as a rule, there is excitement and desire, but over time it turns out that the process is not as linear as it was expected that it takes more and more progress, and it is not felt that the skills that helped in business, in football (and especially in Russian football) do not work that it is enough to give enough money and properly arrange cadres. When it comes to smart people that living in football and living football is different things, they go aside - there are numbers to have numbers. It is no coincidence that private clubs for all huge and by no means poor in terms of the presence of billionaires Russia-once or twice and was given: it is more reliable to sit on a pipe or budget.

From Galitsky with his idea, to make a fix from Krasnodar - and this is if there is a strong “Kuban” in the city - not just an elite team, but a club with a powerful infrastructure and the Academy did not expect anything long -term. In parallel and without loud statements, doing what he promised at the beginning of the journey is the same, habitually “optional”, for what certainly no one would blame him. The formation of the Krasnodar football academy did not lag behind the main team, the distrust of local fans slowly disappeared, so much so that the Kuban had to share popularity. And last year it was unexpectedly discovered that the recent newcomer of the Premier League has fans throughout Russia, not excluding Moscow and even St. Petersburg, where Zenit reigns undividedly.

Of course, the revelation from Krasnodar-and this is how the team was played under the leadership of the new head coach-it would be impossible without Oleg Kononov, one of the most interesting Belarusian specialists, who was known for successful work in Moldova and Ukraine (but far from top clubs) and which Galitsky dared to invite Krasnodar two years ago. Kononov is fifty, he is only a year and a half older than Galitsky, but the similarity was not only age -related - both did not work on the template, did not look back at the authorities, did not interfere with each other. The fact that they listen to Sergei Galitsky on the upper football floors is also not a surprise for a long time - deserved.

However, Galitsky as a person is quite rational into the disputes and fights of football heavyweights, he does not participate in the undercover intrigues, he does not go across the current, he doesn’t swing his hands where it doesn’t, and even behaves too modestly. It is possible, realizing that his time has not yet come.

... Before the new season, the President of Krasnodar was extremely careful and even cruel in the forecast: “This season will be much more complicated than the previous one. For the second time in a row, such an unstable team as ours is unlikely to be able to perform at the same good level. ” Galitsky was not modest - he knew what he was saying. And not only because the team nevertheless fell under UEFA sanctions due to violations of the financial fireplain, and because no one has canceled the “crisis of the second season”.

Perhaps Galitsky at some point changed the usual caution, and he, feeling the proximity of the goal, decided to jump over the step or two, spending a little more funds than it should, without looking at new rules. The sin was not as glaring as the metropolitan “Dynamo”, and quite excusable, but for UEFA, that the club is contained on private funds, a mitigating circumstance-it is the norm there. The department of Michel Platini’s department also did not intend to enter the position and take into account the originality of the Russian soccer life, the club’s department was also not going to earn more than spending more. As a result, for all efforts to create an exemplary, even by European standards, the Krasnodar structure was deprived of the opportunity to buy football players until the next summer and declare them to participate in European competitions. Having made an exception only for those who replenish the team for free - but good luck in this case are rare, and their pupils still have to wait.

The President of Krasnodar outlined the situation as clearly, sharing the far from an indisputable thesis: football is not a business, “but primarily emotions”, which are incorrectly evaluating in banknotes. And how can one measure the English and Russian Premier League if the last English club only on the sale of television earns more than all Russian clubs combined? According to Galitsky, Fair-Play in his current version does not at all help reduce the financial gap between the poor and rich clubs, but only creates new obstacles, does not take into account the features of the development of a country, not to mention clubs, and the redistribution of financial burden towards “earning” in the end is also reflected on fans.

The businessman belittles business component, bringing to the forefront the emotional content of the game-this is not in the world trend, it is even somewhat strange, and there is something to argue about. It is difficult to suspect a billionaire of romance - rather, Sergey Nikolaevich is slightly cunning, but the healthy foundation is not devoid of his reasoning. Altruistic, however, too: “For me personally, it is more important for me that the fans go to the team ... Well, what is the Champions League? We still have to go a long way ... When the club grows before your eyes, this is satisfaction ... "

Someone will see the lack of healthy impudence and the desire to lay straws, someone will praise for restraint and real assessment of opportunities, for someone it is more important that at the end of July, Sergei Galitsky launched a new large project to build seven specialized children's football arena in Krasnodar at once. I'm afraid that all the football Russia will not be set so much ...

To build an impeccable structure and ensure its constant development in the absence of the corresponding context, by and large, nothing more than utopia. But better than nothing.
