
Rosneft will adjust the business plan in the direction of increasing the volume of production at the current deposits, said the head of the company Igor Sechin at a meeting with the chairman of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev. It is reported by Interfax .
In the first six months of 2015, Rosneft slightly increased oil production, gas production increased by 13%. According to Sechin, drilling volumes also grew.
In July, Rosneft refused to develop a deposit in Chechnya, the company did not report the reasons for this decision. In June, Sechin said that in the next two years, Rosneft investments in new production projects will amount to 300–350 billion rubles, the head of the company said.
Some projects related to new deposits have to be postponed due to Western sanctions.
So, the Russian company may have to transfer the beginning of the drilling of the second well in the Kara Sea for two years. Due to restrictive measures, Rosneft does not have time to find a service partner in time.
