
The Greek parliament approved the conditions under which the country will be allocated the third package of financial assistance with a volume of € 86 billion, Bloomberg reports .
The package of laws has already approved 151 parliamentarians of 300. This is enough to adopt the bill, the vote continues. The discussion in parliament went all night, notes Bloomberg.
The new reform package implies, among other things, a ban on early retirement and measures to recapitalize Greek banks, which will require up to € 25 billion.
The Minister of Finance of the Eurozone later on August 14 will have to approve the grant of Greece of a new tranche. As Reuters recalls, already on August 20, Athens will have to pay € 3.2 billion to the European Central Bank. If the agreement is reached, Greece will be able to pay them ahead of schedule.
Athens agreed with creditors on a new trench August 11. In addition to reforms, the agreement provides for the achievement of certain financial indicators. In particular, in 2015, the primary deficiency of Greece budget should not exceed 0.25% of GDP. Since 2016, the budget should become surplus.
