A victim of torture at the Dalniy police station sued for 150 thousand rubles

The Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan awarded compensation of 150,000 rubles to a victim of torture in the Dalniy police station. The name of the plaintiff is not called.

• On June 23, the court ruled on the first lawsuit in the case of torture at the police station. Oscar Krylov, whom law enforcement officers raped in the department with a bottle, received 80 thousand rubles , although he demanded 750 thousand. In addition, Oleg Gaisin's lawsuit is now being considered in court, who is demanding a million rubles for torture in Dalniy.
• In March 2012, Sergei Nazarov, a detainee, died after being bullied in the Dalniy department. During the verification of his death, it turned out that people were often tortured in the department. 14 people were recognized as victims.
• 10 police officers were involved in the torture case. They were sentenced to terms of up to 13 years and 11 months in prison.
