Savelovsky Court of Moscow dismissed the suit of TV presenter Alexander Gordon against human rights activist Alena Popova. Gordon demanded to recover 800 thousand rubles from Popova as compensation for insulting honor and dignity.
The press service of the court said that the claim was denied completely.
In mid-March, Alena Popova took part in the filming of Alexander Gordon's talk show Male / Female. She was invited as an expert on a program on domestic violence.
According to Popova, during the filming, she "witnessed the absolutely unacceptable behavior of the TV presenter Gordon in relation to the women present in the studio." In particular, the TV presenter several times called Popova herself a fool, and also insulted the heroine of the program, who became a victim of domestic violence. These episodes were not included in the final version of the program. After filming, Popova talked about what happened on her Facebook.
Alexander Gordon claimed that the reviews left by Alena Popova were not true.
Meanwhile, Popova herself accused Gordon of misogyny, demanding that a case be brought against him under Article 282 of the Criminal Code. Her statement is under investigation.
I inform. We won the Gordon case (this is Gordon's lawsuit against me). The court made a decision: All claims to Gordon should be denied))) Gordon claimed in the statement of claim that I had disseminated information that did not correspond to reality.
