Auchan filed a lawsuit against Rosselkhoznadzor

Earlier, specialists of the regional department of the Rosselkhoznadzor during unscheduled inspections of the network hypermarkets revealed several violations. In particular, the service studied meat, semi -finished products and sausages for cooking pizza. Of the 47 selected samples in 35 samples, a mismatch was established by the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union for microbiological indicators.

In addition, alien DNA was found in Auchan meat products. So, in the minced meat from beef, they found DNA of pigs, chicken, sheep, pork minced meat - cattle DNA, chicken, sheep, in the semi -finished products of Lulya -Kobab of beef and lamb - DNA of pigs, cattle and sheep.

After the inspections of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Auchan began an internal investigation, and also suspended the work of meat workshops in four hypermarkets for disinfection for a day. Partially agreeing with the claims, the retailer announced his intention to challenge some of them. So, Auchan demanded to refute the information about the detection of a horse’s DNA, since he does not use Konin in his own production.

On Wednesday, it became known that Rospotrebnadzor joined the Auchan checks. The Sanitary Service is checking all Auchan chain stores in Moscow, the head of the department, the chief state sanitary doctor Anna Popova, said .

Last week, the French Embassy turned to Rosselkhoznadzor to clarify the situation around the hypermarket network. However, the embassy did not express concern, but only clarified the details of the audit.

The French retailer "Auchan" has been working on the Russian market since 2002. At the end of last year, the company's network in Russia united 84 stores: 55 classic hypermarkets, 23 hypermarkets of the Auchan City format and six Hypermarkets "Our Rainbow".
