The court sentenced a 44-year-old resident of the Mozhginsky district of Udmurtia to eight years in prison for the murder (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code) of a relative, the Investigative Committee for the Republic reports .
The convict lived in one of the villages of the Mozhginsky district in a private house with her husband and his brother’s family. So, cousins and their wives lived in the same house.
The conflict occurred between the convict, who is married to her older brother, and the wife of her younger brother. When the older brother began to eat the soup, the younger brother's wife "complained that the food belonged to her family." After this, a conflict ensued, during which the older brother’s wife took a knife from the table and stabbed the younger brother’s wife in the neck with it. The woman who was wounded died on the spot.
The woman convicted of murder already had a criminal record for fraud.
