A fifth of Russians considered the abuse of Putin power impossible

The fifth of (22%) of the inhabitants of Russia believe that Vladimir Putin never abused power, no matter what his critics say. This was written by Gazeta.ru with reference to the study of the Levada Center.

A third of Russians (31%) believe that Putin is really abusing power, but this is not too important, since with him the standard of living in Russia has still increased. Only 7% believe that the facts of abuses that are “given on the Internet and free media” are fully true.

Another 29% of the respondents said that they were not watching this issue too much, admitting, however, that Putin can abuse power "like all senior officials." 12% found it difficult to answer the question.

A similar survey “Levada”, which is given by Interfax , showed that 17% of Russians believe that senior officials almost always tell the truth, describing the state of affairs in the country. Two fifths (41%) of the population believe that officials almost always lie or distort the facts; Another 34% believe that both one and the other are happening.
