Auchan sued Rosselkhoznadzor

Auchan filed two lawsuits against the management of Rosselkhoznadzor in Moscow, Moscow and Tula regions. Documents are registered in the Court database, claims have not yet been published.

As follows from the materials, Auchan has submitted applications for contesting decisions on bringing to administrative responsibility. The meeting for one of the claims is scheduled for September 17.

The Rosselkhoznadzor on August 19 announced violations in the Auchan -Kuntsevo store. The department on August 18 discovered that the hypermarket does not comply with the requirements for disinfection of equipment in the production workshop workshop. The work of the workshop was stopped for a day.

Earlier, the Rosselkhoznadzor discovered similar violations in four hypermarkets of the Auchan network in Moscow. The work of meat workshops was also suspended for a day.

Rospotrebnadzor on August 19 said that since June he has been conducting checks in all stores of the Auchan retail chain in Moscow. The results will not be announced until the end of all inspections.

After the inspections of the Rosselkhoznadzor, the trading network began an internal investigation. The company said that they did not agree with the conclusions of specialists.

Auchan is a subsidiary of the French Auchan Group. The network has been operating in Russia since 2009, now 88 Auchan hypermarkets have been opened in the country.
