The police fined the Orthodox community that organized the celebration of an apple rescue in Parka Park (the Transfiguration of the Lord). This is reported by Interfax.
Before the celebration, the gathered at the stage sang the prayer "Heavenly King" in chorus. The police regarded this as a public prayer, which was not agreed with the municipal authorities. The policeman drew up a protocol and wrote out a receipt of 10 thousand rubles.
Lawyers of the Forty Forty Movement intend to challenge the fine. "We consider the fact of a fine as a dangerous precedent that limits the rights of believers enshrined in the Constitution," the press service of the movement said. They explained that the singing of prayer to the laity cannot be considered as a prayer service. He must be performed according to the church rules.

The district court recognized the results of the hearings, but the Moscow City Court canceled this decision and sent a lawsuit filed by public activists to revise. A statement was sent to the Swa -District Department of Internal Affairs with a request to institute criminal proceedings on the fact of forgery of documents of public hearings.
