Tkachev proposes to prohibit the import of wine materials for spill into Russian bottles

The Minister of Agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev, the author of the initiative to destroy sanctions products , came out with another prohibitive idea: he spoke out against the import of wine materials for the spill into Russian bottles. This, in his opinion, harms the development of domestic winemaking.

The importing of imported wine materials and its outlet under Russian brands is unacceptable, said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture on the air of Russia 24 . To suppress such actions, it is necessary to either multiply customs duties, or completely prohibit the import of foreign wine materials into the country.

Tkachev explained the initiative as follows: “Our factories are, in general, the workshops of the fault of wine. This is unacceptable. When today a farmer or a large cooperative begins to lay (Winzavod), and I remind you that the payback is 15 years old, it is easier to bring a tank or a ship from South Africa, or another country, at once 100 or 1000 tons ... to spill wine in a bottle, already here in Russia ... Well, what kind of wine is already in Russia. Competition ".

“Of course, the economy will be better for the one who used another wine, poured and sells it under the Russian brand. This is unacceptable,” the minister said.

In May, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and the former governor of the Krasnodar Territory proposed subsidizing the construction of winery factories. According to him, the devaluation of the ruble led to the fact that high -quality Russian wine has become more in demand on the market, and only viticulture to restore the industry is not enough.

Commenting on the prohibitions on the grocery market, the minister added that Russia is not yet ready to extend the food embargo to wine and confectionery, as it does not produce them in sufficient quantities. Tkachev acted as a supporter of import substitution "evolutionary."
