A bribe for boarding

The head of the Corruption Foundation, Alexei Navalny, accused the press secretary of President Dmitry Peskov of receiving a bribe from the owner of the Sumya Group of Companies Magomedov. In his blog, Navalny published the results of the investigation, according to which Magomedov paid for Peskov’s rest on the Maltese Falcon yacht.

"Based on the information that we collected from the sources, we accuse the civil servant of Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, of receiving a major bribe from Magomedov Ziyaudin Gadzhievich. This bribe was paid in kind: through the provision of the world's largest sailing yacht Maltese Falcon, which cost 26 million rubles a week At the time of its use, ”Navalny writes.

Meanwhile, the official representative of the Summer group denied Navalny’s statement, reports the BBC. "History turned into a prolonged series, and for us unless we became a surprise to become a hero of one of the episodes," the representative of the group said.

Peskov himself had previously denied Navalny’s message that he rents a yacht. Peskov said that he was resting in Sicily, but does not rent a yacht. “I rent a hotel,” he said.

In connection with the information received, the Corruption Fund for the fight against corruption requires the state -owned Peskov explanations about who paid for the lease of the yacht or - if he paid it himself - where did the sources of such income come from.

“We demand a symbolic and demonstrative dismissal of Dmitry Peskov by a combination of merits: a clock for 37 million, a collection of hours for 9.5 million, a trip on a yacht for three annual income. We require the administration of President Putin and President Putin himself not only a legal, but also an ethical assessment of the lifestyle of a civil servant Peskov,” Navalny writes.

Peskov, however, in an interview with RBC, denied the prosecution by Navalny. According to him, he is not off the coast of Sardinia, but on Sicily and does not rent a yacht. “I rent a hotel,” the official said.

However, Navalny convicted Peskov in a lie in the new publication. He referred to the fact that on Twitter the leader of the Alliance of Green and Social Democrats Oleg Mitvol published a photo of businessman Dmitry Yakubovsky on the Maltese Falcon yacht. Further, he noticed that the stepdaughter of Peskova was photographed in the branded dressing gown of this yacht, and the official’s native daughter published her photos, geotegs on which correspond to the yacht route. In addition, he added Navalny, the daughter of Navka erased geotegs from her pictures.

On August 2, Navalny suspected Peskov in "illegal enrichment." In his blog, the opposition said that the Richard Mille Rm 52-01 watches are visible in the wedding photos on the hand of Peskov. Navalny cited a correspondence with the seller of the watch from which it followed that this series was released by a limited edition of 30 pieces and the cost of each copy is 620 thousand dollars.

Peskov told RBC that his wife gave him a watch. “Indeed, the clock is very expensive. But they are much cheaper than some comrades indicate,” the presidential press secretary explained.

The wedding of Peskov was celebrated in the Sochi Grand Hotel "Homeland", which is owned by the oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
