Wikipedia uses the secure https protocol extension, so it will be difficult for providers to block one encyclopedia article.

According to Roskomnadzor, the experts confirmed the “illegal nature” of the information. “The actions taken earlier by the administration of the Russian segment of the Internet encyclopedia to move the specified article to another URL did not restrict users’ access to information recognized by the court as prohibited,” the agency writes.

Earlier, the Chernoyarsk Court of the Astrakhan Region recognized that the article entitled “Charas” described instructions for the manufacture, composition and dosage of a narcotic substance.

In turn, representatives of the resource refused to block the page, citing that the article is based on UN materials and academic sources.
