Krasnoyarsk without zombies

Back in July, the “representatives of the public” of Krasnoyarsk demanded to ban the “zombie parade” - a flash mob, who took place in the city center for several years on August 30. On August 20, the "Parade of the Zombie" was canceled after negotiations of the organizers and city authorities. Instead of the procession, a party will be held. The organizer of the parade Evgeny Ignashov told the OVD-info about the situation.

Who organizes the parade? How long has it been held? Why at the end of August?

- We will organize parades and Andrey Skovorodnikov. Andrei Skovorodnikov is the leader of the local rock band and he himself arranges different rock volumes in the city. This year there was to be the fifth annual parade. The parade takes place at the end of summer, because when I planned the first parade and could not get together with the spirit and decide to spend it, my friend said to me: "Missing at the end of summer, and that’s all." I did it. Then this date was screwed to the "celebration of the end of the summer" and recorded so.

What is the position of the City Hall of Krasnoyarsk? Have you been persuaded to abandon the parade?

- The position of the administration is as much: there are too many of us, and if three years ago we could not be noticed, then from 300 to 400 people came to the last parade, and this is already a reason to start looking after us. Here the public and the administration began to look closely. And this means that they require the coordination of officials for the parade. It is supposed to submit a request for conducting at least 2 weeks. We did not submit and did not agree on anything.

Next year will you try to draw a parade again?

- At a meeting with representatives of the administration in the Central Internal Affairs Directorate, we were invited to either transfer the parade to one of two places in the city reserved for public events, or not to spend at all. In exchange for non-conduct, the representative of the administration promised us on the same day to contact representatives of youth policy and ask them for the next year to leave us a place in their events for the youth day (June 27-approx. OVD-info). And besides, next year he suggested that we apply for a parade as expected. The surprise turned out to be that the representative of the administration kept his word and on September 2 there would be a meeting with the Department of Youth Policy to discuss our participation. We plan to coordinate the next parade according to all the rules and hold the same, large -scale and with the support of the police as last year.

Where did you offer you to transfer the parade?

- One of the places is the fleet of astronauts, the second - I do not remember. Both are far from in the center. Our parade was held in the city center and always led to some kind of institution where the aphermpati took place.

What is this “indignant public”, what are her claims to you?

-This is the committee of mothers (or something like that), who wrote two letters to the administration, and some local parliamentarians. They fear the psychological injuries of the townspeople.

Why in past years the townspeople not "injured"?

- Previously, they were not “injured”, because we were lucky, but we were lucky because there were few of us and we did not attract such attention. Now we were made to understand that any complaint associated with anything (psychological trauma, discomfort in the movement along the street due to the parade, crying of the child, etc.) may be associated with our unauthorized parade and we will have problems.
