The head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Alexei Ulyukaev, appreciated the proposal to allocate Gazprom’s gas transmission component in a separate company, writes Interfax .
“In general, I relate positively to this as an idea, but there are a lot of specific things that need to be worked out,” the minister said. At the same time, Ulyukaev noted that there were no instructions for discussing this issue.
Among the proposals for the reform of the Russian gas industry were the complete liberalization of gas exports, the allocation of the transport component from Gazprom, an audit of the company's transport costs, as well as the achievement of equity in gas supplies to different Russian regions.
