Saratov video blogger, arrested for 10 days, faces new charges

Saratov video blogger Yevgeny Shirmanov, sentenced to 10 days for petty hooliganism, has been charged with a new charge, this time he is charged under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of disobeying a lawful order of a police officer. This is reported by Kasparov. Ru .

Currently, Shirmanov is getting acquainted with the case. The video blogger is charged with some disobedience to police officers, committed by him, according to law enforcement officers, during a video filming of the work of traffic police officers in Penza near the Globus monument on Suvorov Street (“The Tale of How 10 Penzyaks - GAI Officers Made One Protocol”).

Shirmanov's supporters are now actively looking for witnesses who were in that place at the time of the incident, in particular, drivers of cars stopped during video filming by traffic police.

Yevgeny Shirmanov, an activist of the Saratov-OFDPS-Shirmanov community on the Vkontakte social network, carries out civil monitoring of the activities of traffic police officers and publicizes their violations. Shirmanov was detained in Penza on August 15 on Lenin Square, where he was supposed to meet with community subscribers on the topic of corruption in the traffic police, about 50 people came to talk with the blogger that day. While Shirmanov was talking to the visitors, unknown provocateurs approached them and unfurled posters on which it was written: "We are against corruption." Subsequently, Shirmanov received 10 days of arrest under Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism).
