Activist detained in the park was released from the police department

Mikhail Barbotkin, detained in Friendship Park, was released from the Levoberezhny police station. A hearing is scheduled to take place in the Golovinsky District Court on August 28. What time is unknown; at 10:00 he is required to report to the duty station.

As explained by municipal deputy Nadezhda Barynina, after the residents were removed from the park, the police, despite the statement that they had received a message about a bomb planted in the park, called workers there, who began to remove everything from there. According to the deputy, such actions would hardly have been possible if the police had assumed that there really was a bomb planted in the park. Barynina also said that although the territory of the park is cordoned off, representatives of the developer are inside, no demining work is being carried out.
