Saxophonist Artur Fomenko was released from the Kitai-Gorod Department of Internal Affairs. A protocol was drawn up against him under Art. 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - "organization of mass simultaneous stay and (or) movement of citizens in public places that entailed a violation of public order." According to him, when he was detained, he not only stopped playing and was going home, but there was not a single person near him. Fomenko claims that the report was drawn up "on the basis of deliberately false testimony from police officers." According to him, there are corrections in the protocol. At the police department, the musician's phone and personal video recorder, a small chest camcorder, were confiscated. In addition, the instrument was taken away from Fomenko, and they did not give him a protocol on the seizure, but when he began to persistently ask to give him a protocol, he, as he says, was "sent." The hearing in the case of an administrative offense imputed to Fomenko is to be held on September 3 at 11:00 am in the Tverskoy District Court.

Fomenko intends on August 27, together with his defender, to visit the head of the police department.

According to the same article, a protocol was drawn up against Fomenko after his arrest on June 30. The court sentenced him to a fine, the court of second instance left the decision unchanged.
