-“The guy from our cemetery” is a zombie-choror. A rare thing for Russian cinema.

-Initially, I thought-it would be something like “twilight” ... And then for some reason they decided that there would be a comedy.

“And you played a superhero.”

- Superherois without super -capacity. The Russian version of the superhero.

- And what does “Russian option” mean?

- The American superhero is charismatic. He is sure that he will save the world. And the viewer is sure. The heroes of the comics have super capables. And the Russian hero-for some reason, is even a pity.

- Yes, by the way, for sure. So your hero made an orphan?

- Do not even specifically take this film. The Russian hero is always sorry. Take Afonu. Hero? We feel sorry for him. Our Russian hero is not about physical capabilities.

- They remembered Danila Bagrov?

- No. But this is my beloved hero from the 90s.

“Yours similar to him.” But he is better. He is not a killer.

“But he will not cause such a resonance as Danila Bagrov.”

- Why?

- Sergey Bodrov was a unique artist. Everyone loves him for this simple charisma. So I know: he would be alive, I would go to him - and he would help me. Who would I turn to in a difficult situation? To Danila Bagrov.

- I personally would like to contact your hero more. He is kind. So serious all the time. Never laughs.

- I just read the first version of the script when the film was not a comedy yet. It later has changed. And I, honestly, could not look with a different face at men dressed in black rags and clubfoot walking past me. It was surprised that someone could be afraid of them at all.

Ours just have not yet managed to learn how to do it like them. You will even go out and you will shoot Moscow so that it turns out like London - you will never succeed. Try to make a stylish story in the suburbs. Here, in any case, something of its own will turn out.

- I just wanted to ask about it: that is, the film - about the Moscow Region Cemetery. However, for some reason, medieval Gothic crosses stick out everywhere. For what? To give similarities with Tim Burton?

- Everything was still done not only for the sake of beauty, but also for reasons of correctness. At first they wanted to shoot in a regular cemetery. But then the director and screenwriter said that in no case can this be done, because Russian mentality would poorly transfer jokes with the cemetery.

- Interesting! Why?

- Well, we have a closed topic.

-Did you joke in Gorky-2?

- Joking. But a few were close. Someone is funny, and the adult generation does not understand such things at all.

- They personally told you: “Do not joke about the cemetery!”? Throw in letters?

- Nobody threw me. But I personally know my mother’s friends who would not like these jokes at all. Here I have a comrade - Georgian. They grieve at the funeral for an hour, and then they begin to dance, have fun, play cards. It is impossible for us to imagine that relatives on the grave after a funeral to play cards. When we have a funeral, there is a wildly heavy atmosphere.

“Well ... if this is a person you loved, it’s probably difficult to have fun?”

-The fact of the matter is that it is Russian, it is difficult for us. At our funeral, the air is poured with lead. And at Georgian funerals they cry, throw emotions - and immediately rejoice. In general, I'm about the fact that the topic is forbidden. We do not joke about funeral and cemeteries. Therefore, producers tried to withdraw the action from reality as much as possible. To make a cemetery - but abstract. They tried not to do the crosses.

- So that the Orthodox are not upset?

- We just have a believing people. And when he will see that some person was running around the cemetery on the graves behind the spirits, he will not cause this reaction that the creators would like to receive.

- But this is a genre film. This, after all, is just a movie ...

- We understand this. And a few more people from the garden ring. Well, maybe several people in the province. But a large number of people will not understand.

- Do you think that you need to behave like Konstantin Ernst - to please the tastes of the backwards, who believe that running around the cemetery in the film is blasphemy?

- No, I did not say that. The point here is not at all to please someone's tastes. Just every producer wants his movie to watch as many people as possible. And the word "backward" that you said - I categorically disagree with him. This is mentality. It's not backward. It’s just that every country has its own taboos.

-In our recently, there are too many, in my opinion.

- Don't know. Maybe. But it is. And trying to change the situation with the help of a small comedy would be strange.

- Why not try?

- Because the film will fail.

“But you can’t limit what you can laugh at?” After all, we will get to the situation with Charlie Ebdo and the caricatures for which they shoot. After all, you can laugh at everyone, right?

- I think not.

- You can not draw caricatures on the Prophet Muhammad?

- This is a deliberate provocation. If you are a sane person, you will not stand in front of a bull with a red rag? Do you know his reaction?

- Will we be afraid of the bull?

“Why get a red rag if he doesn’t touch you without it?”

- That is, we, representatives of a progressive society, admit that we are afraid of those who suddenly begin to shoot? And we will do what they like?

- I, of course, against the murder. But for some, this is the usual way to solve issues.

- Ordinary - with the bandits.

“You should not change the person, waving a red rag in front of him.” It is useless. You just become a victim. You can meet a gopnik in Krasnoyarsk and tell him that he is an asshole. But you do not count on understanding in response? You will see aggression. Which you yourself ran into. So the caricaturists: they perfectly understood that the reaction could follow. Now I am in no case playing for those who shot. But I do not understand those who painted.

- You see, if you do not draw from the considerations “no matter what happened”, it turns out that you say this gopnik from Krasnoyarsk: “I'm afraid you. You are the king. It will be in your opinion. " Then Gopnik tells you how to live.

-That is, do you think that, having drawn the prophet Muhammad, people defended something?

- People showed that laughter has no restrictions. That you can laugh at anything. Even over the prophet.

- Do you really think that they will change Muslims?

“They will show that there are no taboo topics.” This is freedom. If we prohibit something to laugh at something, tomorrow they will ban on breathing.

- And let's laugh at your mother, who is sick and lies in the hospital?

“But these are different things!”

- They themselves said that you can laugh at everything? Do not even laugh, but mock. Take a picture of your mother when she will be in the hospital, paint her guts - and give you such a photo? Why not? Is it funny? It is clear that any person will not restrain here. For Muslims, the caricature on the prophet is the same. I may also not like it when Jesus is drawn, but I will not go to kill anyone. I won’t go to deal with anyone. And they have a different consciousness. If you try to prove something in this way-for whom are you doing this?

In general, I am not a like -minded person here.

- Look, but Orthodox activists have now destroyed Sidur's sculptures in the arena. Don't you think these are the phenomena of the same order?

-I heard something out of my ear. But, it seems to me, this story and Charlie Ebdo are incomparable phenomena.

- And on the contrary, they seem to me alone. And the prejudices of people who believe that it is impossible to shoot in the cemetery - there.

- Look. You can do everything. Question: For what? What do I want? To watch the film my friends or that a lot of people? Only this is the question. I also love films where they joke over the dead. But I am me. And a man from Krasnoyarsk is a man from Krasnoyarsk. Which is no worse than me because he has taboo topics for the stack. Or maybe even better than me. Why should I shoot so that he does not look and do not carry his money to the cashier? Therefore, I will do for him so that he would look and he does not have rejection. This is a cashier film.

- Do you yourself laugh at black jokes?

- I love, yes. But many do not like it. It is impossible to dictate art. But stepping on sore spots is also not worth it.

- Religion is a sore spot?

- Muslims - for sure.

- So, maybe to treat?

- Maybe. But I can’t climb into it at all. This is their business. Muslims are united by their religion. As soon as something happens to someone, Caucasians always come all together.

- Yes, we will also come to us.

- Well, here it is not necessary. Here I just understand the topic well. Our lads will come - and will be silent.

- How do you understand about the lads?

- I'm from Chelyabinsk. Roted in circles, where it was cultivated at some point. Yes, so throughout Russia it was in the 90s-2000s, years of the heyday of banditry. I had friends who were criminal.

- Such a real lads - in training, in chains?

- There were no chains. Training only. Made supplies to the zone. They collected "heating": so that people there had tea, stew. They had their own guys. There was a man whom they wanted to crown a thief in law. In short, I understand that they will also come right away. But in general, a Russian person sways for a long time. Until he is hit ten times-he only then begins to gather and move somewhere. We are much more disconnected, even geographically. No, when necessary - we are going. But while this is “necessary”, it is not clear how much time should pass.

- And what about Chelyabinsk out of town?

- Industrial. The people are worker. I would not want to live there. But, of course, you come and understand that you love. As a mother who may sometimes not understand you, but you love her. So is your people. So I was in Georgia, I fell in love with Georgians. But I understand: it is not mine, such excessive openness. I am much more comfortable with ours.

I had a case when I traveled by hitchhiking and we drove to the Volga. And so I wanted to buy milk. I went into the house. There, my grandmother meets me: I have nothing, it ended! I begin to leave, she: "Now I will see, maybe the bank has remained." It comes out with the jar. We go. “Will you be cottage cheese? Sit down. Honey, give sour cream? " Brings tea. Cuts bread. I say: how much do we owe you? He says: not at all, only for milk. Take it. And I gave a mug.

- And “bitterly” many look and think how terrible Russian people are.

- I do not think they are terrible there.

- Do you think that this is withdrawn to a person removed?

- Absolutely. The director himself grew up in such circumstances. And he was happy to talk about his uncle, whom he was afraid of little. He hid from him under the table. And now with such love he remembers this uncle. About this bright man.

- Why was it afraid? Did the uncle crawl on the horns?

- Well, drunk came. But he described it so much that everyone laughed. At the same time, in the latest scenes “Bitterly” and “Gorky-2” you understand that these people know how to forgive and love. Therefore, the caricature is not close to me. When it is done deliberately, only in order to cause a violent reaction, only for the sake of a strong provocation - it becomes uninteresting to me.

- Well, how do you feel about actionism? The film "Rawning Union", where you played such a modern Nechaev, is he about this?

- Partly. But there only one of the four heroes is looking for provocations. Others do not agree with him. And mine including. All four want to change the world, each in their own way. My character wants to fix the state. To make it socially responsible.

- Do you share his views? Are you right or left? Are you for a socially responsible state?

- Yes, rather, I share. And I, rather, left. And if I am left, then I am for a socially responsible state. I don't like it when I see homeless people. Poverty. When my relatives and friends live in this poverty.

- How long have you formed your views?

- I practically do not have them. So, at such an amateurine level I understand what is happening in the country. Therefore, I would not like my point of view in this matter to be determining for someone.

- That is, these are not persistent political beliefs?

- No. It often throws me from side to side. It seems to me that we all rushed to something. And we reason, not in vain in the root. And where the root is - I do not see.

- But the Pussy Riot actionism?

- These people are unpleasant for me. I saw their interviews and realized how shitly they behave. I would understand if they were doing their job from noble motives. And when you behave in a nin and provoking, it smells of mud. I understand from what reasons they do it: become famous. To say: victims of the regime. If they had not been promoting themselves constantly, but made one of this action, I might think. And they would be smart and intelligent girls. But I see just pigs who are looking for a way to become famous. And they go to the following rallies to yell and provoke the cops to a fight.

“But Pussy Riot - whatever they are - made a successful action?”

- Why successful? Because they put them?

- guessed a sore point of society.

- Now I will take a week of rest and feel so many sick points. This is not the way of struggle.
