First legend. In April 1945, a train loaded with gold left the German city of Breslau (now - Vroclav) and headed for Valdenburg (now Valbzhikh). These settlements share 60 kilometers. On one of these kilometers, the train disappeared.
During the Second World War, in these places, by order of Adolf Hitler, a huge system of tunnels was built, the purpose of which is still unknown. There are assumptions that in the area of the Ksenzh castle, tunnels dug, since Hitler wanted to organize his headquarters there.
The entrances to the tunnels located in the vicinity of the owl mountains were securely hidden. It is believed that the train was stuck in one of these tunnels. This legend spreads from the words of one Polish miner , to whom German workers told about this train. The Pole spent his whole life to find the train, but did not find him. Treasure hunters have also been looking for gold for decades. In addition, the searches were also led by Polish secret services , but they could find nothing but a few old coins in tunnels.
At the end of August 2015, a law firm, on behalf of two treasurers (Pole and Germans), informed the authorities of the Valbzhiyskovsky (district) that the train was found. As stated in the letter, the length of the train is 150 meters. Cargo - weapons, precious metals and other values. In exchange for 10% of the cost of cargo, they were ready to inform the location of the composition. The representative of the treasure hunters compared the find with the detection of the fragments of the Titanic.
Officials reacted to the message wary. According to the employee of the district council of Marika Tokarskaya, the fact that men hired a law firm is confident, however, she noted, in one of the letters from the lawyers there was some confusion with topography, which issues ignorance of the terrain. Nevertheless, the authorities decided to seriously deal with the information received.
A few days later, Deputy Minister of Culture of Poland, Pyotr Zhukhovsky, said that he was 99% confident in the existence of a train. According to him, he saw a picture from a georadar, on which the outlines of wagons and weapons are noticeable. “We will be 100% sure only when we find the train,” he said. According to the official, the train managed to discover thanks to a certain person who, before his death, said that he loaded the train with gold in 1945. He announced the possible location of the composition. What kind of person is it is unknown. In the media, his revelations have already been called the "dead man".
Pyotr Zhukhovsky said that by law all the property discovered belongs to the state. However, according to him, those who discovered the train can count on a ten percent reward . The World Jewish Congress has already nominated his complaints about the treasures, since gold can belong to the prisoners of concentration camps. Lawyer Mikhail Joffe, representing the interests of Partisan Vasily Kononov, believes that Russia must declare the right to train.
In the wave of excitement in connection with the detection of a train in the Valbzhikha area, the number of tourists increased. The Polish authorities urged everyone to refuse to search for the train, since it was highly possible to minimize the probability.
It is difficult not to believe in the existence of the composition. At the end of the war, the Germans massively exported from the territories that were occupied by allies, confiscated values. In 1944, a train with values that the Americans captured was sent from Budapest: the cargo was pulled out, almost nothing returned to the owners. And in 1945 in Germany, thousands of gold ingots and arts of art were discovered in the tunnels system.
