This place for the action was chosen from three options proposed by the mayor's office , and Limonov appreciated it as a “good temporary replacement” .

However, the Strategy-31 itself has radically changed-first due to the split in the ranks of the organizers, then- from 2014- due to the convergence of the positions of “other Russia” with the positions of the authorities.

The St. Petersburg members of the other Russia, however , did not wait for the approval of the authorities . Since the beginning of 2010 , they held shares every 31st of the Gostiny Dvor , but as in the capital , the authorities of St. Petersburg did not coordinate the events .
