On the Moscow Exchange, a decrease in the ruble course continues. According to RBC, in the first minutes of trading, the dollar and euros rose more than the ruble, but did not stop and continued to grow. At about 11:00, the euro exceeded the course for 75 rubles, rising at the maximum to 75.346 rubles, which is 2.11 rubles higher than the closing level of the bidding on August 28.
At the same time, the dollar rose at the maximum to the mark of 67.198 rubles, which is 1.796 rubles higher than the closing level of Friday trading.
A decrease in the ruble rate occurs against the background of a decrease in oil prices that dropped in the morning on August 31 below last week a level of $ 50 per barrel. During trading on the ICE exchange, the cost of Brent oil futures with the supply in September 2015 fell below $ 49, which is about 2 percent lower than the closing level of yesterday's trading.
Analysts associate a decrease in oil prices with a new drop in quotes in the Chinese stock market. The leader of the fall was the Shanghai Exchange index, which at the maximum fell by 3.7 percent.
“Information appeared that the Chinese authorities are stopping the bempter of shares aimed at supporting the country's stock market, and instead begin an investigation against those who are suspected of its destabilization,” said Natalia Berezina, analyst Uralsib Capital.
