
The President of the Unrecognized Republic of Transnistria, Yevgeny Shevchuk, decided to marry the Foreign Minister Nina Standa. This was reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda in Moldova .
According to Interfax , at a press conference, the head of Transnistria said that in the near future, Standa would become his wife. At the same time, she will leave the ministerial post.
The name of the new head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of an unrecognized republic is still unknown.
As KP in Moldova notes, rumors about the close relations of Shevchuk and Stri went long ago, but they have not yet been officially confirmed.
Evgeny Shevchuk has been the presidency of Transnistria since 2011. Prior to that, he led the parliament of an unrecognized republic.
Nina Shtandsky in the past worked as an assistant to the chairman of the Parliament of Transnistria (when Shevchuk held this position), and was also an adviser to the Renaissance moved by him.
