Transaero airline did not initiate consolidation with Aeroflot, Interfax reports with reference to the statement of the chief executive director of the company Alexander Pleshakov.
The management of the airline proposed two scenarios: the creation of a banking syndicate or financial recapitalization of the company, quotes the Agency of the words of Pleshakov.
Transaero shares on September 2, during trading on the Moscow Exchange, fell by 19.4%, Aeroflot papers grow by 0.27%.
According to Interfax, Olga Pleshakova left the post of transaero general director.
Aeroflot became known about the possible purchase of Transaero on September 1. The amount of the transaction is estimated at one ruble.
Transaero is in a difficult financial situation, the pure loss of the carrier in RAS (Russian standards) in 2014 exceeded 8.5 billion rubles. In December 2014, the government supported Transaero, providing a state guarantee company for 9 billion rubles.
