The governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili accused the Ukrainian oligarchy of direct threats in his address. “The oligarch offers to put me as a dog,” the official said on his FB page. “After unsuccessful attempts to bribe or discredit, they switched to the last script known to the oligarchy,“ direct threats. ”
Saakashvili noted that the Ukrainian oligarchy, being the "main nutritional environment of political corruption", is the same obstacle to the formation of the Ukrainian state as Vladimir Putin. “I think the people of Ukraine will soon indicate this completely in impudent remnants from gang decades in their place,” the governor concluded.
Saakashvili made his statement in response to the performance of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. Earlier, the governor accused the oligarch of illegal influence on the passenger air transportation industry. According to TSN, these accusations, Kolomoisky commented as follows: "When a dog bites someone without a muzzle, you need to punish the dog, and, what is important, its owner. The dogs are strewn in such cases. And in our case, you can send a cashed payment to Georgia so that it is responsible for the people bitten there."
“As for the owner, we understand who he is,” the oligarch continued.
Further, Kolomoisky remarked: "I think there is no point in asking a dirty snotty drug addict until he takes place of rehabilitation from drug addiction." However, he immediately added that he intends to file a lawsuit against the Odessa governor about the protection of honor and dignity. "Saakashvili said that he has a salary of 200 thousand dollars," let him pay from her, "said the oligarch.
Kolomoisky is known for his boorish behavior. So, in March, while still as the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, he sustained Radio journalist Freedom Sergei Andrushko, when he tried to take him a comment on the situation in Ukrtransnaft. For this trick, President Petro Poroshenko announced the reprimand of Kolomoisky . A few days later, the oligarch resigned from the governor's post.
Saakashvili conflict with Kolomoisky is one of the episodes of a major conflict of the Odessa governor with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The conflict worsened on Thursday. As Ukrainian Pravda reports , then Saakashvili said that the government in Kiev is controlled by the oligarchs. So the official reacted to the refusal of Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to consider a report on the cost of air transformations and the work of the head of the State Administration of Denis Antonyuk, who was removed from office after strict criticism from Saakashvili at the end of June, but then returned to the post.
“What interests does Yatsenyuk - Kolomoisky or tens of millions of passengers of Ukraine come from?” The Odessa governor asked a question. “Yesterday Yatsenyuk decided in favor of Kolomoisky. So he regularly made decisions in favor of Akhmetov and others ... The Ukrainian government is controlled by all these oligarchic interests.”
At the same time, Saakashvili categorically shallowed the assumption that his criticism addressed to Yatsenyuk is explained by the desire of the Odessa governor himself to become the prime minister. “I am not going to become the Prime Minister of Ukraine,” he assured. “But I want the Prime Minister to act in the interests of the people of Ukraine, and not Kolomoisky, and not Akhmetov, and not someone else.”
On Friday, Interfax-Ukraine reports , Yatsenyuk noticed in connection with Saakashvili’s statement that "it was not good for the former president to resort to false accusations." At the same time, he added: "I do not react to any personal attacks." “Mikhail must work, and he will work,” the prime minister said and called himself the “first ally” of the Odessa governor.
On the same day, Antonyuk was fired .
Meanwhile, on September 1, on the official website of the President of Ukraine, a collection of signatures under the petition was opened with a demand to appoint Saakashvili as prime minister. “Let the person finally carry out reforms in Ukraine,” the author of the appeal explained this requirement. “Enough to endure corruption and delay in reforms.” To fall into the Poroshenko consideration, the petition for 3 months should gain 25 thousand signatures. At the same time, for 5 days, as of 15:57 Moscow time on Sunday, 19,581 people already supported the demand.
In mid -July, Saakashvili said that he had evidence confirming Kolomoisky's involvement in smuggling in the Odessa port. Then he said that the oligarch "had already directed threats to him." Saakashvili added that when he was the president of Georgia, Kolomoisky offered a bribe to the members of his team.
Saakashvili was appointed Governor of Odessa on May 30 . In this post, he replaced Igor Palitsa, which was considered the creature of Kolomoisky. The oligarch commented on the decision made as follows: "As for Saakashvili, I am generally surprised. I think this is a temporary figure. Now he will give Odessa to Odessa, and then he will have to conquer it again."
