Dmitry Kiselev claims that the sanctions lists are incredibly included. New political talk shows appear on NTV. We are discussing events in the TV world with reporters Alexander Melman, Natalia Ligacheva and Boris Wright Shuster
Elena Rykovtseva: We devote our program today to Russian television, which has come out of vacations. And it all started with an unexpected event, which has not yet been reflected on the air, but suddenly it became known that Dmitry Kiselev, the leading of the Russia-1 channel, rebelled against European sanctions imposed on it. His lawyers complained to the European Court and said that what he has to do with the situation in Ukraine, why this innocent Russian journalist fell on the list of people who somehow influenced this conflict. I represent our guest - Alexander Melman. You opened a new television season, with the TV, are you together again?
Full video version of the ether
Alexander Melman: Yes, I discovered for myself, saw a lot of new things and thought a lot.
Elena Rykovtseva: Alexander will share his impressions of television premieres of the new season. Indeed, the mass of the curious happened, for him, at least. And let's start with the topic of the requirements of Dmitry Kiselev to remove sanctions from him. Alexander, you think, lawyers have chosen the right point of view - this is a journalist, he cannot influence, he is not a politician, he does not make decisions?
Alexander Melman: From the point of view of lawyers, of course, they should have their own protection system, lawyers do their job and do the right thing. I look at Mr. Kiselev, of course, as if not that politics, but serving. That is, he was somewhere in the corridor, received instructions. A fairly signal person, received a whole agency for himself, makes a signs of the final program on the state channel, very high -rating. Makes it, I want to say, very skillfully from the point of view of modern propaganda, it falls on the target, in our wonderful viewer. That is, this is a great master, a great professional. The opposite side notes this high skill in this way. Therefore, I think, this is a very high rating for Mr. Kiselev. He, in my opinion, said that it means I do my job correctly, I am in my place.
Elena Rykovtseva: Since this damned Europe haunts me, then I do everything right.
Alexander Melman: So why cry now? Or is it such a new trend when Joseph Davydovich, Mrs. Matvienko is somehow offended. It seems to me that Mr. Kobzon in this sense is just a harmless person, an artist, he can be forgiven a lot. Yes, and I have the right to forgive, because a person is wonderful in his own way. And then we can disassemble, he is still a deputy, of course, we can disassemble his political activity ambiguous, of course. But this is one situation. And Mr. Kiselev, who, faithfully serves his employers, is not for fear, but for conscience, I hope he fell under sanctions. And it would be worthy in his situation, and not in the situation of Mr. Sentsov, in which, as some democratic comrades say, that he had to confess everything when he threatened 23, and now they gave 20.
Elena Rykovtseva: To take advantage of this rostrum, some comrades said, to say: "I am to blame, but I acted in the name of the interests of Ukraine."
Alexander Melman: From my point of view, this is a mental position to push the one who stands on this face. He is better to shut up. And here you should not be silent. A person is engaged in propaganda very high quality. What is this Europe to him? There is a huge country, he talked about the same, he spent his vacation somewhere, he wanted to go to Norway, Japan, he was not allowed, he spent the time somewhere in Russia perfectly.
Elena Rykovtseva: Do you think that he behaves unedagogical in relation to his audience when he begins to fight and butt for the right to enter Europe?
Alexander Melman: He argues nonpatriotic.
Elena Rykovtseva: This is the third person in this connection, the first was Valentina Matvienko, who was absolutely hysterical about limiting her rights in America, in the USA. She demanded that the parliamentarians of the whole world press on those politicians who take sanctions, to forbid them to take sanctions against parliamentarians. That is, in general, from her point of view, it is impossible to limit a person in movement if he has a deputy or senatorial mandate. The second was Joseph Davydovich, who said that the damned Europe, she went to all the rhymes that are combined with Europe, but I want to be treated there. He went to Vladimir Putin, pressed that he was not allowed into Europe, and Vladimir Putin, turning on all his ties in Italy, and he had serious, cool ties, pierced him with the Schengen Italian visa for treatment in Europe, although Joseph Davydovich continued to scold and vise in his pocket. Suddenly, Dmitry Kiselev began to sue the third and eager for Europe. Today we asked our correspondent in Samara to interview Samara passers -by, find out their point of view what they think about this behavior of their pet.
(Survey)
Elena Rykovtseva: Natalya Ligacheva, editor -in -chief of the Telekritika portal, is now in touch with us, Ukrainian. The thesis that Dmitry Kiselev is now voiced: what can be the influence, but I am not a politician? I stand next to Dmitry Medvedev, I accept the state reward from him for my work, but I do not manage the state, do not make decisions, I voiced a journalistic point of view. Do you think Europe will peck at these exhortations of lawyers or will not be succumbing and the sanctions will remain on Dmitry Kiselev?
Natalia Ligacheva: In any case, I expect that Europe will not peck, as you say, and the sanctions will remain. I think this will be fair, since Dmitry Kiselev is a screw of the state machine, as you know, he is the leader of the agency, and not just a publicist who leads his author’s column, expresses one or another point of view. The media that he leads, it occupies a completely pronounced policy - this can be seen officially. We are professionals, we understand how this is done. Secondly, it surprises me, for me it would be humiliating to behave like that as Dmitry Kiselev behaves, especially since I personally know him a little, his self-self-confidence, when he suddenly occupies such a pose. If you are talking about radioactive ash-this was not in relation to Europe, but with regard to the United States, nevertheless, this is the West, then it is somehow strange to ask there.
Elena Rykovtseva: That is, you already need to stand on your own, from your point of view?
Natalia Ligacheva: If Europe is so bad, then why do you go there?
Elena Rykovtseva: Do you think that such mantras, that a journalist is a completely different profession, are not suitable in this situation, because they are also integrated into the state management system, even brain management, like politicians?
Natalia Ligacheva: Moreover, this confirms the experience of Kiselev in Ukraine, when he worked, of course, not on the state television channel, but on a private television channel, but belonging to the son -in -law of the then president of Kuchma. We know very well that he then worked out the policy that was beneficial to Kuchma and Viktor Pinchuk. Moreover, if you compare from Kiselev then the time, then his attitude towards Ukraine was radically different than what he has now. Therefore, to say that he expresses his views, I doubt very much that this views are just working out money.
Elena Rykovtseva: Boris Wright Shuster is in touch with us. We would like to know your point of view that Dmitry Kiselev’s lawyers voiced today in the European court that he carries moral damage, material damage, by the way, I don’t know what he is expressed, but the line of material damage from the sanctions for Dmitry Konstantinovich is also present in this lawsuit. They also say that the decision to impose sanctions on him was completely unfair, because he is not responsible for the policy of the Russian state, he is not a politician, he cannot influence the situation with Ukraine, what does he have to do with the history of this war. What do you say, can the court perceive these arguments?
Boris Wright Shuster: I really hope not, I hope that our trial is reasonable. This is just the pinnacle of cynicism and the top of rudeness, when a person who calls to turn the West into a nuclear ash, then does such things. In principle, only medical terms can talk about this. I think this is outside the political terms. I am now closely communicating with Zhanna Nemtsova, Boris Nemtsov’s daughter, she has one of the main tasks, so that the leading propagandists of this regime be punished. She says that this is propaganda, which sows hatred, propaganda, which kills, is exactly what it is. In my opinion, these acts, which are now taking place, are largely simple.
Elena Rykovtseva: So you hope that the court will not perceive this, and the sanctions will remain in force? Do you think it will be fair?
Boris Wright Shuster: I think this is very fair, this propaganda sows hatred. Even in the Russian Criminal Code, now I don’t remember exactly which paragraph, but there is inciting interethnic growth is punishable by law up to two years. If the prosecutor’s office worked in Russia, if it had performed its functions, then a criminal case against such people would have been instituted inside Russia. But, alas, there is no justice in Russia, it is not used as a law enforcement body, but it is used as a punitive body against dissenters.
Elena Rykovtseva: If such cases were initiated, they would not be able to go to Europe in any case, would not have to impose sanctions to Europeans on them.
Boris Wright Shuster: On the other hand, I think that it is all funny, because it shows how false it is, as far as it is all the hypocrisy. If a person constantly sows the injury against Europe, rotting a geyropus, he considers himself offended that he cannot go-the tops of hypocrisy and hypocrisy, in my opinion, are no more. I think that he exposes himself. Because according to the logic of everything that he says, he must be glad that he has no threat to leave for this terrible Europe, we save him from this debauchery, from this nightmare. For some reason, it humiliates him, it means this is not true, which means that it is not so bad and there are even material interests. In fact, it is very curious and even funny as they expose themselves. But, obviously, they themselves do not notice. But here only medical terms can be used.
Elena Rykovtseva: All year medical in the sense of cure. Because Valentina Matvienko cured this year in the sense that a year ago she said that what happiness, that now I can rest only in Crimea, I will go to Sochi. And suddenly a year passes so medical and it turns out that this is not enough for her.
Boris Wright Shuster: Absolutely. Their statements are already different, they are so contradictory - it's just from the field of fantasy. When you live in the West, when you do not see it every day, then it is even more striking. When I write for Western readers, I need to constantly write: this is not a satire - this is actually so, this is not a distortion! People simply do not believe, they say: you probably came up with it, this is a satire. And then they need to explain: no, this is not a satire, it happens in Russia. People here, thank God, still cannot believe it, and when you live in this, eyes are blurred, and you no longer understand how immoral it is.
Elena Rykovtseva: Alexander, present us with new political shows that came out this season. By the way, in your opinion, the fact that they suddenly opened a new entertaining show near Dmitry Kiselev specifically, he will now conduct a program like “How to become a millionaire”. He is already on the air with Anatoly Wasserman, show the videos of how Wasserman will be blessed by this million. Is this by chance not for Europe an image adjustment takes place?
Alexander Melman: Here, it seems to me, everything is much simpler, we are looking for a black cat in a dark room. Just a multifaceted person, he wants to try himself in different hypostases, he works exclusively for his people, on television. They are people, they live not only exclusively by politics, they live not only Ukraine, they want to live full life. And if they are given such an opportunity, I am only happy for Mr. Kiselev.
Elena Rykovtseva: He is for many years on television, two years of continuous propaganda, you do not think that the departure of an entertaining show is a way to cleanse yourself from the image of a politicized propagandist?
Alexander Melman: From the point of view of someone, on the contrary, he will get dirty with entertainment, it will be somehow frivolous, it can be ridiculous.
Elena Rykovtseva: Maybe it is more important for him to get dirty with entertainment in this situation with sanctions than to remain exclusively by a propagandist?
Alexander Melman: I also really love the theory of conspiracies, but here I do not accept it for myself. Just a person wants to have fun a little, he is tired even after a vacation from everything he does. This is a really huge load: a huge agency, the transfer of the final sign. Let a person easily prove himself.
Elena Rykovtseva: Give an additional load in the form of an entertaining show. One show, second show, agency ...
Alexander Melman: He will do it easily, he will do it dancing and choking. In general, nothing human is alien.
Elena Rykovtseva: He was sent to a new job as a resort, do you think?
Alexander Melman: Maybe. After all, we have many presenters who lead a variety of formats. Say, Mr. Gordon, in which formats only he showed himself, or Mr. Dibrov, or Mr. Parfyonov. Well, wonderful. Unfortunately, Parfenov is not on our television, the rest are all present. Give them God.
Elena Rykovtseva: In a word, he wanted to frolic a little.
Alexander Melman: And the authorities went towards.
Elena Rykovtseva: Sergey from the Tver region, did you look at something during this time, in the first week of September?
Student: Kiseleva is very difficult to listen. The question always begs for me: do you think Kiselev respects the audience that speaks on television before? And in general, in the end, does he respect himself when he leads such programs, so refers to people?
Elena Rykovtseva: This is a good philosophical question. Alexander, does Dmitry Kiselev respect his audience?
Alexander Melman: In our country, it seems to me that the program turns into a personal file of Mr. Kiselev, some kind of Komsomol assembly about moral appearance.
Elena Rykovtseva: You just said that there was nothing immoral in this appearance. Does he respect his audience or not?
Alexander Melman: I can only imagine a certain image of Mr. Kiselev, I cannot climb into the cranial box. I think that in my own way, of course, yes. Because he understands that everything he says, the mass audience will understand and she understands. This is such a mutual process. And what he says in a smoking room or at home in the kitchen about this people, I don’t know, he didn’t stand with a candle, so I won’t lie.
Elena Rykovtseva: Victor from Moscow, please say.
Student: I have a little remark about Kiselev. Kiselev states in the European court that he is not responsible for the political activity of the government - it is still as in the Nuremberg trials Streicher, a well -known editor of the anti -Semitic publication, would say that he is not responsible for Hitler’s crimes against Jews. But for some reason, the Nuremberg process did not perceive his arguments and hung Streicher. Of course, I do not urge the European court to establish some kind of punishment for Kiselev.
Elena Rykovtseva: He does not judge him - he himself gave him, he complained about justice.
Student: I understand. Kiselev, in my opinion, is worthy of criminal punishment for his crimes, but, of course, in Russia. I hope it will ever come true.
Elena Rykovtseva: You repeat what Boris Wright Shuster said, if formally, from the point of view of the law, approach things that relate to inciting hatred, then he theoretically, we cannot call a crime without a court decision, but it is theoretically possible, if from this point of view, he could fall under this. Oleg from Krasnoyarsk, hello.
Student: Doesn't it seem to you that it was a provocation, mockery from Kiselev?
Elena Rykovtseva: No, this is a very serious story, it lasts since May. This is a serious process, which has become known only now. They tried to do it quietly without taking it to the public. It is really important for him to take off these sanctions. He really has various kinds of interests there. For example, in England, Russia Today, television companies are arrested, because, according to the English bank, Dmitry Kiselev’s personal money, which is now under sanctions, somehow according to the accounts of this television company. He has a lot of troubles because of these sanctions, so he did not want to give any provocation, jokes or a reason for us to discuss this, they wanted to do it quietly. But since the European Court is used to upload some materials on its website, one fine day, namely, these materials were posted yesterday, and we got the opportunity to discuss it. Поверьте, что это не с подачи Дмитрия Киселева.
