Andrey Talevlin is no longer an ecologist

The famous public figure Andrei Talevin, calling himself an ecologist, will no longer teach at the Ecology Department of the Chelyabinsk State University. Such a statement was made by the dean of the Faculty of Ecology ChelSU, a member of the College of the Public Council on Environmental Policy under the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Sergey Likhachev .

“Everyone knows that a person is engaged in antipatriotic things. Although I am normally treated as a colleague, in this decision we, together with the Institute of Law of ChelSU, proceed from the following circumstances. Firstly, we would not want our students to be incorrectly oriented in the legal field. And secondly, we also go towards the wishes of students of the Faculty of Ecology. In addition, now there are very serious positions in terms of counteracting the existing system, the state in society has various organizations in the Chelyabinsk region: “for nature” and the mass of others, one of them is headed by Maria Sobol. These organizations conduct protest pseudo -ecological activities. For them, it doesn’t matter what problem, the main thing is that the problem exist. They will rush with this problem, stir their heads, will organize rallies, and it is clear that they do this not disinterestedly. They do not need solutions to problems. They need a problem, and the longer it exists, the longer they will show their customers “active activity”. While I am working at the Ecology Faculty, our ecologists will not participate in protest activities anymore. Their main task is to study and become professionals who study problems in the field of environmental safety and offer scientifically sound ways to solve these problems, ” said Sergey Likhachev, reasons for removing Andrei Talelin from the faculty of ecology.

The professor also told why the associate of Andrei Talevin left the faculty of ecology for the protest pseudo -ecological movement Oleg Magazov, a man who brought students to the faculty of demonstrations, rallies against the authorities and the existing order allegedly in support of environmental initiatives. “The fact is that Oleg Magazov did not pass the competition for the faculty and therefore left him. And the environmental problems that Oleg Magazov pointed to, in fact, either do not exist, or they are very exaggerated, ”Professor Likhachev shared.

Recall that the teacher of Chelyabinsk State University Andrei Talevin leads two NPOs - foreign agents: the movement "For Nature" and the Foundation "For Nature". Both organizations are in court entered into the register of foreign agents. For three years of work, from 2012 to 2015, the Foundation for Nature received about 80 thousand euros for pseudo-ecological activities from the Norwegian Society for the Protection of Nature. The Foundation "For Nature" was fined 100 thousand rubles. for the untimely provision of information to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on the performance of the functions of a foreign agent.

Colleagues, only now I read the next opus of Rumyantsev. I don’t know what Likhachev stated, but I work at another faculty, at the law. Now it is called the Institute of Law. And Likhachev is nobody to me, I have my own leader. This year I did not have a load at the Ecological Faculty. I still continue to work at the university and I'm not going to leave.
