Goethe-Institute will present German jazz in Moscow

Five musical groups from Germany will perform at the Cultural Center "House" at the Jazz autumn festival, which Goethe Institute in Moscow holds from September 23 to October 23.

“The main task of the festival is to show the versatility of the modern German jazz, its main directions and trends,” says Astrid Vega, head of the goet's cultural programs in Moscow.

The motto of the festival-“without walls”-declares the rejection of any barriers or barriers, as well as stylistic prohibitions and restrictions.

On September 23, the festival will open Silke Eberhard Trio -the ensemble of the ascending star of the Berlin jazz-improvisational scene, saxophonists, clarinetists and composer Zilka Eberhard, on October 1, the Pablo Helda trio will perform in the “House”.

On October 8, the concert of The Tradition Trio will be held. As part of one of the most long -lived and unusual improvisational ensembles of Europe, Johannes Bauer (thrombone, Germany), Alan Silva (synthesizers, France) and Roger Turner (drums, Great Britain).

On October 15, the festival will be a young pianist, singer and composer Johanna Borhert, and a saxophonist, composer and multimedia artist Alfred 23 Hart and a performer at the Daxophone of Cazuhis Utihasi will take part in a prison concert on October 23 .
