Under Kiev was detained a former policeman of a separate special purpose company Tornado, units of the Lugansk head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a citizen of Belarus Daniil Al-Takbir (Lyashuk) nicknamed Mujahed. This was announced on his Facebook page by the Deputy Prosecutor General, the main military prosecutor of the country Anatoly Matios. The official called Lyashuk "the most dangerous and cruel of the suspected fighters of the Tornado company, adding that, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainee professes the values ​​of the" Islamic state ".

Lyashuk was hiding from the investigation for more than two months, Matios noted. The suspect was detained on Wednesday evening in the hotel complex on the Obukhov highway as a result of the "filigree operational combination" of the criminal investigation department. The operation, according to the official, passed "hard, but without shooting."

The detainee is charged with a number of serious and especially serious crimes. “It was Mujahidean -Lashuk with extreme cynicism and audacity, cruelty and ruthlessness that made the most cruel tortures of the local population of the Luhansk region, organized and took a direct part in the rape of the detainees, whom he, along with other suspects, stole from selfish motives,” Matios wrote.

In mid -June, it became known about the detention of eight suspects in the torture case in the Luhansk region, seven of which, later transferred the Ukrainian Pravda, were the policemen of the Tornado company. Among the detainees was the company commander - police lieutenant Ruslan Onishchenko, previously convicted five times. All eight were placed in a pre -trial detention center without the right to be released on bail.

The case was opened in March for a number of articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including Articles 255 (creation of a criminal organization), 127 (torture) and 115 (intentional murder). It was alleged that from January to mid -March 2015, in the city of the Lisichansky City Council, Onishchenko encouraged subordinates to the abductions and torture of local residents. In particular, it was reported that in the basement of a city school adapted for tortures, police officers committed a group perverted rape of a man, fixing this crime in the video.

The opera, investigating the case, the special forbidden forbade to approach their base, threatening the use of weapons. In these conditions, Matios turned to Arsen Avakov to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and he disbanded Tornado with his order and led his employees beyond the staff of the ministry.
