The Tagan court authorized the arrest of "God Kuzi"

The Tagansky court of Moscow authorized the arrest of Andrei Popov, known as the “god Kuzya”, accused of fraud, RIA Novosti reports.

Thus, the judge granted the investigator’s petition and refused the accused to imprison him under house arrest.

Now Popov is charged with fraud (suggests up to 10 years of imprisonment). In addition, according to the investigator, the issue of charges of creating a destructive cult (up to 4 years of imprisonment) is being resolved.

The "god of Kuzya" categorically does not admit his guilt. Lawyers asked to put Popov, who, according to the defense, is a disabled person of the group II, under house arrest. Lawyers also asked to free Popov on bail of 3 million rubles.

According to one of the two defenders of Alexander Klinov, Popov "does not intend to hide, but, on the contrary, collaborates with the investigation."
