A suspicious car with protruding wires was found near the Pentagon building

A suspicious car was discovered at the Pentagon building in Washington, due to which the police had to block approaches to the defense department.

Having discovered that some wires were sticking out of the car, and fearing the terrorist attack, law enforcement officers during the audit closed all the entrances to the US Department of Defense for two hours, including the metro station located right under it, TASS reports.

The police fenced the perimeter around the car. When experts in explosive devices arrived at the place, they found that the alarm was in vain. The local television of Wusa9 said that inside the car they found three men in an unconscious state, apparently drunk.

The violators of the order are detained, there is a trial.

The Washington metro Twitter account reports that the Pentagon station is again open for passengers.
