There they found materials for the manufacture of explosives. Another was detained near the border of Thailand and Cambodia. According to the police, his fingerprints were found on containers with the material for the bomb, which was found in the apartment of the first suspect. Both detainees are accused of storing explosives.

As a result of the explosion in the tourist center of Bangkok, which occurred on August 17, 20 people were killed, dozens were injured. The responsibility for what happened was not taken by either individuals or some kind of organization.

Journalists criticize the Thai authorities to provide extremely meager and conflicting data on the progress of the investigation and the alleged motives of the detainees. According to the latest version of the Thai authorities, the main suspect in the explosion case is a native of China.
