The Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky, through the structures controlled by him, paid the top managers of the state-owned company Ukrnaft Million Bonuses so that they defend his interests. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine , citing copies of contracts at his disposal.
Thus, a contract concluded with the former chairman of Ukrnaft's board Peter Vanheke in 2011, guaranteed that the minority shareholders pay him a fixed bonus of $ 3 million, and also - provided that they will be satisfied with his work - an annual bonus of $ 2.25 million.
The deputy Vanheke, Mikhail Bakunenko, as the source notes, was appointed a bonus of $ 1.75 million a year. Another top manager-Alan Satton, who in 2011 took the post of director for economics and planning-minority) pledged to pay $ 350 thousand a year plus an annual bonus of $ 150 thousand, as well as cover housing rental costs.
Thus, as the agency concludes, the company's leaders were financially interested in making decisions in favor of those from whom these payments received - that is, minority shareholders.
Information about the bonuses was also distributed by the journalist of Ukrainian Pravda Sergey Leshchenko. He noted that the allowances received by the Ukrnafta managers from the minorities significantly exceeded their (managers) official salary. The money, as the journalist specified, came from offshore companies controlled by Igor Kolomoisky and his partner Gennady Bogolyubov.
Leshchenko did not exclude that the contract with similar conditions was proposed to the new chapter of Ukrnafta Mark Rollinza.
The agreement published by the Ukrainian media, from the minority sides, are Littop Enterptice Limited, Bridgemont Ventures Limited, Bordo Management Limited, Ballioti Enterptice Limited and Renalda Investments Limited. Littop and Bridgemont, in particular, belong to the offshore registered in Belize, whose co -owners, as noted, are Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov.
Ukrnafta is the largest oil and gas production company of Ukraine. 50%+1 share in it belong to the state “Naftogaz”, 42% - the Privat group Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov, the remaining shares - offshore companies registered in Cyprus.
The conflict is associated with Ukrnafta around the payment of dividends to the state represented by Naftogaz. The company refused to transfer funds, stating that Naftogaz owed it for the fuel of the amount of the amount (Kolomoisky also spoke with similar statements). In July, the Chairman of the Board (Peter Vanheke, in which, as noted, was actually ruled by the Privat group, was replaced by Mark Rollinz, the chairman of the board was replaced in Ukrnaft. Meanwhile, according to Naftogaz, at the beginning of September, dividends in the amount of 2.41 billion hryvnias (about 7.5 billion rubles) were not transferred.
