
On September 15, in the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar, consideration will begin on the merits of the criminal case against activist Daria Polyudova, accused of public calls for separatism and extremism. The case is considered by Judge Oleg Goncharov. Polyudova’s interests are represented by lawyer Andrei Sabinin.
The case was initiated in August 2014 after an attempt to conduct a "march for the federalization of the Kuban" in Krasnodar. In September 2014, a civil activist was detained, and at the end of February 2015 he was released from the investigative insulator under a recognizance not to leave.
During the first meeting, it is supposed to interrogate witnesses, including the accused in another "extremist" case of civil activist Sergei Titarenko, who testified against Polyudova . The case of Titarenko himself is now being considered in the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar.
There are three episodes in Polyudova. The first is qualified under part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism), which provides for the four years of the colony. The activist was charged with the exit on April 4, 2014 on a single picket with a poster "Not a war with Ukraine, but a revolution in Russia! Not a war, but a revolution!" And the publication of your photo with this poster on a personal page on VKontakte.
Part 2 of Article 280 (public calls for extremism via the Internet), the sanction of which is up to five years of the colony, was imputed on the second episode of Polyudov. This accusation of the activist was charged with repost on July 16, 2014 on his VK page of someone else's text containing the following phrases: “Wake up, people! .. Why can't we remove Putin, and then make a socialist revolution? !!! It's time to go to the square and overthrow this regime!”
Finally, the third episode of the case is qualified under part 2 of Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code (public calls for separatism via the Internet), which also provides for up to five years. This is the first case of initiation of the case under article 280.1. Polyudova was imputed on August 5, 2014 - also on a personal page on VKontakte - the text under the heading "Cut with a guetler with his own weapons."
At the end of August 2014, Polyudov was arrested. She spent six months in a pre-trial detention center-5 of the central headquarters of the FSIN in Krasnodar, unofficially controlled by the FSB. The activist was released in connection with the expiration of the maximum permissible period of pre -trial arrest of imputed charges.
