The trial of Sergei Udaltsov has been appealed to the ECHR

The defense of Sergei Udaltsov, who is serving time on charges of organizing mass riots on Bolotnaya Square, filed a complaint with the ECHR on September 15 about the lack of a fair trial, violation of Udaltsov's right to defense and inhuman treatment in court. This was reported to RAPSI by Udaltsov's lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky.

According to the lawyer, Udaltsov's defense asked that the complaint be given priority. The reason for this may be the fact that the court removed Udaltsov from the hearing for a week, which is a gross violation of his rights, Agranovsky claims.

On September 10, a similar complaint was filed in connection with the trial of Leonid Razvozzhaev.
