LDPR left the State Duma meeting in protest

The LDPR faction left the State Duma meeting. Vladimir Zhirinovsky made the decision to leave the hall after a conflict with United Russia deputy Irina Rodnina. According to journalists, the leader of the Liberal Democrats from the podium cited facts of violations in the elections in the Amur region, where, according to Zhirinovsky, the LDPR candidate Ivan Abramov should have won, and not the representative of United Russia, Alexander Kozlov. The official press release of the party clarifies that the faction left the meeting room “in protest against the falsification of elections in the Amur region, as well as in protest against the attempt to disrupt the speech of the leader of the LDPR in the State Duma.” The leader of the LDPR faction, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, answered questions from Kommersant FM host Maxim Mitchenkov.

— Can you explain what actually happened on September 16 in the State Duma?

— We are challenging the election results throughout the country, especially in the Amur region. We do not agree with them, and we showed the results of our candidate for governor Abramov from rural areas of the region. In the city he won 45%. The current governor is 30% of the total, that is, ours is 15% higher. And in the districts of the region, on average, 20%, 17-18%, there are areas where he has 35%. And they wrote to him 1%, 2%, 3%, rewrote the protocols so that the general vote for our candidate Abramov was lowered and, naturally, raised for Kozlov; with difficulty they drew him 50.6%.

We dispute this, demand a recount, and create a commission. We demand a second round. Our candidate Abramov wins in the second round. There will already be a second round in Irkutsk, where we will support the communist candidate Levchenko, because he has a full chance of winning. United Russia is unhappy with this. They make noise, stomp, and the aggressively obedient majority. What Afanasyev said to the first congress of deputies of the USSR, the same people sit in the Duma today.

— Vladimir Volfovich, explain, you started talking about these violations - what began to happen in the State Duma? Did they start interrupting you?

- They began to interrupt. Rodnina sits in the front row and mumbles. I say - how can this be - the difference, say, is 90% for the governor, for our 1%. And there is a plot nearby - for our 20%, what is it anyway, there is a settlement nearby. Yes, it may be so. I perform and she drones on. Yesterday I mumbled all the time. She never speaks in the Duma, she doesn’t know how, she doesn’t want to, and she sits, she’s bored of sitting and being silent for ten years, and now she mumbles and mumbles. I tell her: “stop interfering with the performance,” and that’s all. Then we continued through the elections. I said that elections were held, that all the years they were all fake. And they hum, hum, make noise. Then Zhukov reprimands me instead of Rodnina. Bulavin comes out and talks about some kind of ethics commission. They've gone completely crazy. And as a protest, we left the meeting room. We won't be there in the morning until the end of the day.

— Vladimir Volfovich, did you leave the hall precisely in protest against election fraud, and not because of a conflict with Rodnina, as the media is presenting?

- Certainly! What a conflict, we don’t notice her at all. There is no conflict. Well, she’s been hysterical there, grandma has been muttering for many years, we don’t need her close - why do we need Rodnina? We are challenging the elections, we care about that, not Rodnina, they are transferring it now. What does Rodnina have to do with it? She has nothing to do with it. We are challenging the elections, we do not recognize them, we demand a commission. And I sent a telegram to Putin telling him not to accept Kozlov, that he is not a governor, he is a fraudster.

— Vladimir Volfovich, have you already collected any evidence regarding falsifications?

- Certainly! I voiced this evidence that such a spread does not exist, that in each district, on average, our candidate won flawlessly in the city - 45%. For Kozlov - 30%. And in the regions he gets 17-20%, even if it’s half as much, but then Kozlov can’t get more than 50%. Kozlov gets a maximum of 40%.

Second round. Everyone doesn't want to. Our candidate in the Amur region has more votes than Levchenko in the Irkutsk region. That one has 36%. They don’t give us a second round, they declare Kozlov the winner, and on September 17 he will go to Sochi, he will not be ashamed, he will shake hands with the president with his fraudulent hand. This was discussed, Rodnina has nothing to do with it, we don’t see her closely and don’t know her.

— Vladimir Volfovich, how will you proceed next?

— On September 16 we are not in the meeting room. On Thursday, the Duma council, and we hope, our draft resolution will appeal to the Election Commission so that they urgently double-check and create a parliamentary commission to check the elections in the Amur region, and in Irkutsk, and in Mari-El, where the communists are also contesting. If this all happens on Friday, then the commission will go and check. There aren't many ballots to check. Literally three districts, seven or eight sites, this can be done in half an hour. And everyone will see that Kozlov does not have 50%. It is enough that he has 49%, there will already be a second round. That's why we showed everything.

Yes, you yourself take the Internet, they will show you all the sites in the Amur region, and you will see that two settlements, two settlements - in one there are 19% of ours, in the other - 1%. Does it really happen? This is funny, this is a mockery. The difference can be 16-18%, within 2-3%, even 5%, but when the difference for the governor is 91%, and for ours 1%?

— And how did colleagues from other factions, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, A Just Russia react?

— The Communist Party of the Russian Federation fully supports us, just as we support them. They are also dissatisfied with the Rostov region and Nizhny Novgorod region. We are also unhappy there. Here, we believe that the position of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is correct, and ours, we will demand that there be a commission, a recount, a second round, and so on. That year we also contested the Rostov region. The governor and his team, which was responsible for the elections, agreed, fired the deputy governor, removed the chairman of the Rostov regional election commission, and punished him. But the governor still did not fulfill his promises, so we consider the actions of the governor and the next elections in September of this year to be unfair. But the most unpleasant thing is the Amur region.
