The retirement age in Russia can be increased already in 2016. This was reported by "Vedomosti". As a high -ranking official told the publication, such an offer put forward by the Ministry of Finance "was seriously discussed at meetings, was supported by many."
It is expected to increase the retirement age to 65 years for both men and women. It is planned that the increase will be gradual - every year the bar will rise either by six months or for a year. Depending on the pace of raising the retirement age, the Ministry of Finance says, saving the budget for 2016-2018 will be from 620 billion to 1.3 trillion rubles.
Among the other proposals of the Ministry of Finance are the indexation of pensions in 2016-2018 by only 4 percent instead of 4.5 percent, which previously insisted on the ministry, the refusal of pensions for working pensioners with annual income either from 1 million rubles, or even from 500 thousand, reducing the indexation of salaries to state employees, including military, and in the coming year - to zero.
The task of all these measures, notes the publication with reference to the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov, is to ensure that by the end of 2018 the reserve fund and the National Welfare Fund remains at least 2 trillion rubles. At the same time, Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Siluanov, clarified that it is mainly about the FNB, because the reserve fund will be exhausted by the end of 2018.
As of September 1, the reserve fund amounted to 4.7 trillion rubles, the volume of the FNB - 4.9 trillion. However, by the end of this year, only 3.2 trillion rubles will remain in the reserve fund.
With the cost of Brent, equal to 50 dollars per barrel, budget deficit, if you do not reduce expenses, in the next three years will amount to more than 8 trillion rubles.
