During the next round of investments, the company attracted € 180 million and was estimated at € 1.4 billion (about $ 1.6 billion). InSight Venture Partners, Lead Edge Capital and Vostok New Ventures invested in BlablaCar.

Current investments, according to BlablaCar, will help the service expand the business, primarily in Asia, Brazil and other Latin American states. In 2014, the company attracted $ 100 million and after that went beyond the European market, having come to Mexico, India and Turkey, writes The Wall Street Journal.
The service for finding fellow travelers on BlablaCar trips was founded in 2006. Now it works in 19 countries, and more than 20 million people are its customers.
