The detained ally Lyashko was going to declare a hunger strike

The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Radical Party Igor Mosiychuk, detained on suspicion of a number of crimes, announced his intention to declare a hunger strike. He made a corresponding statement in a court, which must appoint him a preventive measure. According to "Today" , the parliamentarian decided to abandon food from today.

“I have been announcing a hunger strike from today, and I will starve until the cynical huckster regime is fallen, or so far my strength is enough,” the publication quotes the deputy.

In turn, Interfax-Ukraine reports that Mosiychuk will begin to starve only if the court sends him under arrest without the right to pledge.

Speaking in court, the deputy rejected all the charges against him, saying that the case was “100%falsified”.

Igor Mosiychuk was detained by employees of the Ukrainian Security Service on September 17. This happened after the Verkhovna Rada, at the request of the prosecutor's office, removed inviolability from him and allowed him to take into custody. The deputies made the corresponding decision after the video was shown in the meeting room in which the parliamentarian agrees on a bribe.

The detention of a deputy from the radical party, led by Oleg Lyashko, preceded her exit from the ruling parliamentary coalition.
