
The Central Bank withdrew the license at the Tusar bank, which did not conduct the operation for about a month, according to the regulator’s website.
It is alleged that the bank’s management pursued a highly risked credit policy, the assets did not bring enough income, and a reserve was also not formed to compensate for possible losses. The DIA will begin payments to depositors no later than October 2.
On the evening of September 17, RBC wrote that any operations are not performed in the bank’s branches, and the depositor of the credit institution said that he could not pick up his deposit.
“The offices are open, the operatives are sitting in their places, but their only work is now explaining to customers that deposits are not issued and are not replenished, payments are not made, even the currency cannot be exchanged,” the correspondent who visited the bank branches said.
On September 2, the bank’s website published an appeal to customers, which talked about attracting strategic investors with a request to support the credit institution “at this difficult time”.
Tusar was registered in 1994, in terms of assets in Russia, he took 184 place from 19.9 billion rubles. The volume of the loan portfolio as of September 1 reached 16.8 billion rubles.
