The case of the penetration of activists of the unregistered party "Other Russia" to the military base in Latvia is re -qualified for an article on hooliganism. This was announced on the air of Radio Baltkom by human rights activist Vladimir Linderman, TASS reports .

“The case is retrained for hooliganism. Accusations of terrorism and espionage were removed, ”Linderman said.

Activists of another Russia Andrei Popko and Alexander Kurkin penetrated the territory of the military base in Adji on June 10 and deployed a flag in the colors of the St. George tape. At that moment there were military NATO at that moment, since the Saber Strike international military exercises were held in the region. Russian activists quickly detained sentries. The party reported that this was an action against the creation of NATO bases in the Baltic states.

The criminal case was opened under articles about espionage and an attempt to commit terrorist actions. These articles provide for punishment up to life imprisonment. According to the article on hooliganism, the accused can be sentenced to five years in prison. Eduard Limonov, the leader of “another Russia” , believes that the case should qualify under the article of the Code of Administrative violations “illegal penetration of a military facility”, which provides for a fine of up to 70 euros.
