Einstürzende Neubauten will perform in Moscow

On September 26, the German group Einstürzende Neubauten will give a concert at the Moscow club Yotaspace.

In December last year, Einstürzende Neubauten was forcedto abolish Russian tour due to injury to the leader of the Blixie Bargeld group. “All tickets purchased on the previous date are valid,” the Yotaspace website reports.

German musicians in the fall of 2014 released the first record in seven years - the conceptual album "Lament" dedicated to the First World War. In particular, the musical works of the 1910s and 1920s were included, audio recordings on wax cylinders made in the German camps of prisoners and the German version of the anti-war song of Peter Siger “Where Have the Flowers Gone” .

The basis of the album was the performance prepared by Einstürzende Neubauten for the project “Against the Neglection: Gone West, The Fall of Diksmuide 1914-2014” in the Belgian city of Dikmoida, where one of the first battles of the First World War, the battle of Izre.

“This is not an album at all. This is a documentary fixation of the performance. To understand that this is, we must come to the performance and see it, ” said Bargeld in an interview with Colta.ru.
