Apple released WatchOS 2

Apple has released the first major update to its WatchOS operating system. The second version is available for download.

It was planned that WatchOS 2 will be released on September 16 simultaneously with iOS 9. However, they decided to postpone its release because they found a serious bug.

• WatchOS 2 allows you to create apps that can interact directly with sensors. In addition, they can be installed directly on the watch, and not through the iPhone. Also in the new version of WatchOS will be support for third-party Complications - widgets that can be placed on the watch face.
