After that, the Kremlin had to remind the head of the peninsula that this is not the level of his powers.

All this backstage is nothing more than a battle beyond the boundaries of authority. On the one hand, Sergei Aksenov, confident that the status of the chief public actor of the “Crimean spring” gives him the rights of the feudal lord. On the other hand, Moscow, which, apparently, does not want to produce inviolable. Moreover, Aksenov himself was only one of many candidates for the post of head of the “Russian Crimea”. His merit is not that he initiated the change of flags, but that he agreed with this very change and expressed his readiness to serve as a public person of a new reality.

Sergei Aksenov probably would like to quote the formula of Louis XIV - in the conditions of multimillion -dollar federal subsidies to Crimea, this looks like the limit of dreams. Moreover, over the years of life and work in Ukraine, he is probably used to the weakness of the capital's center. But the problem of Kuchmovskaya Maxim “Ukraine is not Russia” is that she works in the opposite direction. Moscow is hardly ready to have another Ramzan Kadyrov: the key to Crimean Stability is not at all concentrated in the person of the head of the republic. All political competition in Crimea is reduced to discussion about who fiercely loves the Kremlin, and therefore the only tectonics after a first -person shift will reduce the resignation of its inner circle.

And against this background, any personnel cleaning on the peninsula resembles an attempt to discard the ballast so that the bureaucratic basket tied to the balloon does not scatter from a blow to the ground.
