Enteo was arrested for 10 days

Today, September 22, the Tver court of Moscow recognized the leader of the “God's will” movement Dmitry Enteo (Tsorionov) guilty of petty hooliganism on the fact of attacking an exhibition in the arena and sentenced him to ten days of administrative arrest.

It is reported by TASS . Enteo did not admit his guilt, his defense intends to appeal the verdict. Earlier, an activist Georgy Soldatov was arrested for a pogrom in the arena for five days.

On August 14, activists of the “God's will” movement, led by Dmitry Enteo (Tsorionov), damaged several exhibits of the exhibition “Sculptures that we do not see” , including four works by Vadim Sidur. The attackers explained their actions by the fact that these works of art insulted the feelings of believers.

All damaged exhibits are included in the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation. The cost of their restoration is estimated at 1.1 million rubles.

The Tver court of Moscow fined the attack participants for 1000 rubles. The Moscow prosecutor's officerefused to institute criminal proceedings under the article “Vandalism” in connection with the attack on the exhibition.

The leadership of the Manezh Museum and Exhibition Association stated that it insisted on initiating a criminal case against activists of God's will who arranged a pogrom at the exhibition. The leaders of the largest Russian museums, including the director of the Plane named after A.S. Pushkin, the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Center for Contemporary Art, the Polytechnic Museum and VDNH.

On September 14, the Office of the Investigation of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow opened a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Destruction or damage to cultural values” on the fact of the incident in the Manege. The police estimated the damage caused to the exhibits of the exhibition in 196 thousand rubles. On September 16, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow reported that all participants in the incident, as well as representatives of the injured party, the organizers of the exhibition and eyewitnesses of the incident will be called for interrogation to the police.
